Moniasma sunset living is located at the scenic and peaceful village of Ano Meria, at the heart of Folegandros.

Ano Meria is a traditional village and the centre of the island’s farming produce. Its houses are sparsely laid out, surrounded by blooming yards and olive groves, vineyards and small orchards. It’s an ideal spot to experience the genuine island life, away from the tourist season clatter.

Here, you’ll find small tavernas where you can savour scrumptious local cuisine and traditional dishes made out of fresh, local produce. There is also a number of small shops, which sell handmade jewellery, souvenirs, local products, basic commodities, while the village features a traditional bakery as well.

Ano Meria lies at a short distance from some of the most scenic beaches on the island, like Agkali, Vardia and Livadaki. Those are beaches of crystal clear waters and amazing scenery, ideal for swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing in the sun.

For trekking fans, there are lots of scenic trails in the area that lead to some of the most impressive view points and landmarks on the island, like the Venetian Castle and the church of Panagia.

Ano Meria also hosts a number of traditional festivals and cultural happenings all year long, providing a unique opportunity of getting to know local customs and tradition.
